Oh it did rain!!!wow...what a weekend. zaina had a great 3rd bday. It was a Ni Hao Kai Lan party. started with a private lunch with her bro and parents, just the 4 of us on thursday, her actual bday. went to the kids favorite restaurant, Jinwa chinese, and Z opened her first (hopefully of many) Tiffany jewelry box...so cute to see her little face.
Sunday, we had a huge bday bash...lion-dragon dancers, drummers, 40 adults, 20 kids...fun fun fun... Asian themed festival. the weather was good, outdoor seating, UNTIL the 1st lion dance started, then it POURED RAIN. Our friends are such troopers, 1/2 of them watched the lion dance in the rain with us, the other 1/2 friends and family watched from inside the house. Luckily, by the time the 2nd lion dance performance started, the rain STOPED. check it out!!!

What a spectacular party you put together! That takes a lot of creativity and organization on your part. I'm impressed! Z looked precious in her sweet outfit. I'm glad the party turned out to be a huge success! I wish I could have been there to enjoy it with you.
